Departing from Copenhagen in February/March 2024, you’ll venture to the captivating Melville Bay in Greenland, a sanctuary untouched by time. Nicolas Dubreuil will be your guide and interpreter, allowing you to communicate with them. He’ll pick you up in Upernavik and be your bridge to this extraordinary experience. Guardians of tradition, the people of Kullorsuaq will lead the way, setting the pace and offering you access to their world.
Day 2: Upernavik to Kullorsuaq by Snowmobile
Your adventure truly commences as you hop onto a snowmobile, ready to explore the wonders of nature. As you ride through, you witness the untouched beauty of this icy realm. You’re venturing into the unknown, and the thrill is palpable.
Day 3: Sleeping under the Arctic Sky - Sled Ride and Ice Bivouac
As the sun dips below the horizon, you find yourself on a sled, pulled by a team of fifteen loyal snow dogs. In the heart of this pristine wilderness, you set up a bivouac camp on the ice, ready to spend a night under the starry Arctic sky. It’s a magical experience, a moment of connection with the raw beauty of the Arctic.
Day 4: Discovering the Pristine Melville Bay
