Travel Through the Indian Ocean and Participate in Exciting Charity Projects with the Par Excellence Charity Travel Program
The Par Excellence Charity Travel program provides a unique opportunity to explore Africa and its surrounding islands on the Blue De Nimes, a stunning luxury yacht. However, this is no everyday travel experience. The highlight of our Charity Travel Program is that participants can make a difference by working with leading non-profit organizations in Madagascar, Mauritius, Tanzania, Mozambique, and several other developing regions.
Although a luxurious adventure, this program is designed for individuals who desire to give back to society by adopting a more hands-on approach. You get the privilege to explore new regions, interact directly with the recipients of your generosity, and enjoy the thrilling feeling of witnessing firsthand the impact of your contributions.
Lend a hand and Get Involved in Charity Work by Volunteering With Non-profit Organizations During Your Trip
We will allow you to volunteer with organizations providing solutions to several challenging issues such as education, gender inequality, healthcare, and access to clean, pipe-borne water. In addition, you will be able to collaborate with other like-minded individuals in developing and executing projects for rural communities and underprivileged demographics.
Sail on the Bleu De Nimes, a Private Luxury Superyacht, as you Visit Several Countries
For this Charity Travel journey, you will ride on the Bleu De Nimes. This 72m-long luxury superyacht can accommodate up to 28 guests. It has 13 cabins with 2 VIP cabins, 6 double cabins, 2 triple cabins, and 2 twin cabins.

Places to See On Your Charity Travel Experience
Together with our partners, we have provided a list of countries you will visit.

Uganda
Uganda is a nation situated in East Africa. Its considerable landscape encompasses many volcanic hills, rainforests, and lakes like the famed Lake Victoria. Being situated on the equator, it is a natural habitat for many rare species, including half of the world’s remaining population of mountain gorillas.
Among Uganda’s hottest tourist attractions are the Baha’i temple and Gaddafi National Mosque, both in Kampala. The mosque itself is famed as the second biggest in Africa. While in Kampala, you can also get a taste of Ugandan professional hospitality by checking out hotels like the Hilton Garden Inn.
Sadly, Uganda is one of the world’s poorest countries. Over 40% of its population lives in Poverty. Uganda also hosts the largest population of refugees in Africa, further compounding its situation. This is where you can help. As a volunteer, you can serve in some of the refugee camps, delivering medical care, providing food, building shelters, etc.
Uganda also happens to be among the top 15 HIV/AIDs affected nations in Africa. In 2019 alone, it had over 21,000 deaths from HIV/AIDs. This has caused a historical prevalence of suffering AIDs orphans. However, the trend has reduced in recent years. The orphaned children themselves now have a shot due to the work of organizations like the Uganda Rural Fund (URF).
The URF is devoted to caring for AIDs orphans by providing food, shelter, education, and healthcare, as well as teaching vocational skills. They’re also about bringing these basic amenities to impoverished rural settings. While in Uganda, you can travel with URF teams to these areas to participate in local projects. You can also donate to the organization to facilitate their work in bringing happiness to these communities.
Tanzania
Tanzania, the largest nation in East Africa, is home to the continent’s highest peak, Mt Kilimanjaro. It is also the place where you’ll most certainly find exotic animals like elephants, leopards, lions, rhinos, and buffalo.
The country has a rich and diverse cultural and ethnic heritage with over 130 ethnic groups. Its people are known to have a strong sense of national pride, treating visitors with politeness and friendliness.
Sadly, Tanzania is yet one of the world’s most impoverished nations, with much of its population living in abject poverty. By volunteering under Charity travel, you can help put a smile on the faces of these people by providing amenities they lack. You can volunteer in any capacity, be it as a health worker, a volunteer teacher in a rural school, or a financial benefactor in one outreach or the other.

The wildlife, of course, isn’t left out. Following a long history of local poaching, the country is home to many wildlife sanctuaries you can visit. You can volunteer, for instance, at the Amani Nature Sanctuary, which is home to over 340 globally endangered avian species.

Madagascar
Located a few hundred kilometers off the east of Africa, Madagascar is one of the largest islands in the world. Its jaw-dropping rock formations and rain forests, such as the Ranomafana National Park, make it an excellent place for travelers who enjoy hiking.
Madagascar constantly suffers from a severe food crisis, with over a million people facing life-threatening hunger due to drought. Also, more than 500,000 children have been reported to be malnourished and in urgent need of food and water.
This Charity Travel Program will allow you to join the fight against hunger by supporting non-profits in this region that are focused on addressing the Madagascar hunger epidemic.
For example, Action Against Hunger is one of the organizations fighting undernutrition and improving the quality of life for citizens in the Androy and Aztimo-Andrefera regions. As you go on a tour of Madagascar, you will be able to collaborate with these bodies and contribute your quota towards the eradication of global hunger.
Mauritius
You will sail across the Indian Ocean towards Mauritius, a small country on the eastern coast of Africa known for its waterfalls, wildlife, and fantastic beaches. You can visit many places in Mauritius, including the Black River Gorges National Park, Chamarel Waterfall, and the Casela Nature Parks.
However, apart from sightseeing tours and beautiful views, you will also have the opportunity to give back to society by visiting and working with organizations leading the charge against poverty and many other social issues in Mauritius.
Youth United in Voluntary Action (YUVA) is a growing organization with thousands of members looking to provide the young people of Mauritius with quality formal and informal education and equip them with the technical competencies to be gainfully employed.

Behind all YUVA’s initiatives is the singular goal of ending poverty in the country. This NGO also engages in programs to improve access to healthcare and help citizens learn valuable leadership and social skills.
If you would like to support organizations such as YUVA and take part in some of the charity projects being embarked on in Mauritius, then our Charity Travel Program will undoubtedly make for a special outing.

Zanzibar
Filled with awe-inspiring beaches and fantastic local restaurants, Zanzibar is truly an exotic location that anyone would enjoy. This island’s bright, clear, turquoise-blue waters make for superb viewing when the sun sets. Also, Stone Town, its major attraction, constantly draws in several travel enthusiasts yearly.
Sadly, according to UNICEF, 1 in 3 children in this area may not be able to afford their basic needs. This problem, combined with the glaring need for increased efforts in providing education to the island’s teeming young population, has given rise to NGOs such as the CR Hope Foundation, Al Noor Charity, and the Zanzibar Outreach Program.
These organizations regularly engage with locals in the Ugunja and Pemba islands to facilitate the efforts in eradicating lack and ensuring that everyone, regardless of location, receives standard education and training.
Your journey on the Blue De Nimes will take you to this relatively small island where you can volunteer with some of these organizations and create and implement projects that will vastly aid in the fight against poverty and inadequate access to information.
Seychelles
Seychelles is a perfect spot to enjoy the finest beaches and go snorkeling. Between Praslin, Beau Vallon, Victoria, and La Digue, there are several choice locations where you can relax and get to know more about this country.
Thanks to our charity travel program, you can visit the Vallee de Mai and Aldabra Atoll, two of Seychelles’ recognized UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and learn more about the fantastic work being done by the Seychelles Islands Foundation.
This non-profit organization, created by the Seychelles government, is interested in preserving the biodiversity and ecosystem of both landmarks.

They regularly embark on several projects bordering on climate vulnerability and strengthening biosecurity measures. Also, the SIF engages in educational outreach programs such as holiday camps and school clubs.
On this charity travel experience, you won’t just enjoy the splendid scenery this country provides, but you will also lend a hand to the humanitarian efforts within this region.

Maldives
Our Charity Travel Program also involves yachting to the Maldives, which is arguably one of the world’s top tourist destinations. You will get to experience the lovely views of the Indian Ocean and see Alimatha Island, the Male Fish Market, and Bikini beach.
Although the Maldives is a rapidly growing country that attracts several visitors each year, there still remain challenges in providing access to higher education and skills and ensuring equality for many of its citizens.
There are tens of charitable organizations in the Maldives that you can visit on this journey, each addressing one or more of its pressing issues. Some examples include the Maldives Human Rights Organization (MHRO), Maldivian Red Crescent Society (MRCS), and Coram International Maldives.
The MRCS is one organization that allows interested participants such as yourself to volunteer and get involved in charity work. In addition to supporting this and other NGOs financially, you will have the opportunity to meet with other kind-hearted volunteers and aid the MRCS in alleviating suffering through its diverse programs. These programs promote health and well-being, strengthen emergency responses, and foster human values and volunteerism.
Cape Verde
Your trip to Cape Verde will allow you to see all the sights, including Sal, Praia de Chave, Tarrafal Beach, and Projeto Diversidade. In this island country, you will interact with the locals and absorb its culture. You will also have the opportunity to give to charitable organizations within the region and volunteer with these NGOs.
Only about 10% of Cape Verde’s land is considered arable. The impact of this situation on food availability has been catastrophic, as many people in the country do not have access to proper meals. Caritas Cape Verde is one of the groups tackling this issue of food shortage. Their program aims to empower Santiago and Santo Antao communities by promoting agroecology and planting trees, small vegetable gardens, and drought-resistant crop varieties.

You will be able to visit local communities in Cape Verde and learn more about the work that organizations like Caritas are doing before you embark on a trip to your next destination on the Bleu De Nimes.

Mozambique
Mozambique is one of the destinations we would explore on our Charity Travel Adventure. This splendid country represents the perfect picture of diversity reflected in its rich plant and animal life and its vast array of tribal groups, including Chokwe, Mayinka, and Sena. This spectacular territory provides several activities for you, such as horse riding, scuba diving, snorkeling, and much more.
There are many places to visit in Mozambique, like the Niassa Reserve, Gorongosa National Park, and the Maputo Reserve. However, with more than 60 percent of its population living on less than $1.90 a day, several people living in this region are constantly plagued with harsh living conditions and denied access to basic materials that would significantly improve their quality of life.
On this charity travel program, in addition to visiting Mozambique’s landmark sites, you will have the opportunity to work with World Vision International (WVI), which focuses on promoting community transformation through several innovative approaches.
WVI has existed in Mozambique for over 35 years to address the underlying causes of poverty and establish self-reliant communities. They provide food and relief materials, offer nutrition and hygiene tips, and develop quality educational initiatives for children in impoverished rural areas.
Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe is a great place to visit for lovers of wildlife. At the Matobo National Park, Hwange National Park, or any other safari location, you can enjoy a fantastic viewing experience as you observe Lions, Elephants, Rhinos, and Buffalos in their natural habitat.
Also, Zimbabwe boasts of a rich cultural heritage which you can learn about by visiting its age-long landmarks such as the Khame Ruins, Zimbabwe Ruins, and the Danamombe Ruins.
In addition to this rich sightseeing experience, you will learn about the awe-inspiring work carried out by organizations such as the World Food Program (WFP).

This global organization which has its regional office in Harare, Zimbabwe, is focused on providing food security to underfed rural communities which have been greatly affected by long bouts of drought at various times. The WFP plays a pivotal role in reducing mortality rates and building resilient communities by providing food assistance, humanitarian support, and emergency relief.

Zambia
Zambia, on the southern part of the African continent, is home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the famous Victoria Falls. This beautiful country also has the largest artificial dam, the Kariba Dam. There are many things to do and sights to see in Zambia that will make your charity travel experience most memorable.
Despite its many jaw-dropping attractions, lack of standard healthcare services, improper nutrition, and poor education are three of the biggest challenges facing residents of this nation, especially those domiciled in more rustic locations. On your trip, you can visit and possibly volunteer with some non-profits championing the fight against these adverse circumstances.
One such is Save the Children, an international organization with a presence in Zambia and over 20 other African nations.
Their main focus areas include child protection, education, poverty alleviation, health and nutrition, and child rights governance.
Located in Lusaka, Zambia, Save the Children has been actively involved in reducing under-five mortality rates and providing improved living conditions for the country’s young population since 1983.
Ethiopia
For lovers of history, Ethiopia is a treasure trove of information. With its rocky mountains and unique architecture, this East African country will leave a remarkable impression on anyone visiting.
From Addis Ababa, the nation’s capital, to its surrounding states, you will be amazed by its top-class hospitality and famous landmarks such as Lalibela, Aksum, and the Danakil Depression. In addition, you can also witness firsthand the awe-inspiring work being done by organizations such as Project Mercy to improve the lives of Ethiopia’s populace.
This organization also has a keen interest in skill acquisition. Their adult skills workshop regularly trains women in basket weaving, bead making, and sewing as an alternative to farming, largely predominant in Yetebon and ChaCha.

Project Mercy also engages in infrastructure building projects such as road construction and the erection of schools and hospitals.
You can be a part of this and many more initiatives and interact with the beneficiaries of your generosity courtesy of our Charity Travel Program. Contact us to find out more about this travel package.
